Author Guidelines
TANZIRA: Journal of Innovation and Management in Islamic Education (TANZIRA: JIMPI)
1. General Provisions & Template Usage
Before submitting a manuscript, authors are required to read and fully comply with these guidelines. Manuscripts must be written using the journal’s Official Template. Non-compliance with the required format may result in the manuscript being returned or rejected (Desk Reject) prior to the review process.

2. Technical Specifications of the Manuscript

Paper Size: A4 with standard margins (Top, Bottom, Left, Right = 2.54 cm).

Manuscript Length: Between 7–15 pages.
-
Font Type: Cambria, Size 12.
-
Spacing: Single spacing (1.0).
-
Paragraph Spacing: Before & after = 0 pt.
-
Text Color: Black, except for Subsection Titles (Headings), which must be in Blue according to the template format.

Page Numbering: Must use the Footer feature → Page Number → Bottom of Page → Style Accent Bar 2.
3. Writing Systematics (Article Structure)
The manuscript must follow the IMRAD structure (Introduction, Method, Results, and Discussion) with the following details:
A. Title and Author Identity

Article Title: Cambria, 16 pt, Bold, Left Align. Capitalize Each Word. The title must be concise, provocative, and reflect the essence of research in Islamic economics/finance.

Author Name(s): Write full name(s) without academic titles (Cambria, 12 pt, Bold).

Affiliation: Include institution name, city/region, country, and author’s email (Cambria, 11 pt).

Corresponding Author: Indicate the corresponding author and ensure the listed email is active.
B. Abstract and Keywords

Format: Single paragraph (no bullet points), Italic, single spacing. Must be provided in both Indonesian and English.

Content (Max. 150 words): Must include:

Background/Urgency of the problem.
-
Research objective.
-
Method used.
-
Main findings/results.
-
Conclusion.
-
-
Keywords: 3–5 important words or phrases, separated by commas (,).
C. Introduction
This section presents the research background concisely yet comprehensively (Max. 25% of total manuscript length).

Explain the gap analysis (research gap) and state of the art (relevant previous studies).
-
Describe the urgency and novelty of the research in the context of Islamic economics.

Each reference must use the Body Note citation technique (Last Name, Year). Example: (Ibrahim, 2023).
D. Method
Describe the research procedures in detail to allow other researchers to replicate the study (Max. 10% of total manuscript length).

Include research type, population/sample, instruments, time and place, and data analysis techniques.
-
May be divided into sub-sections without numbering.
E. Results and Discussion
This is the core section of the manuscript (Minimum 40% of total pages).

Present research findings concisely (may be supported with Tables/Figures).

Provide in-depth interpretation. Compare your findings with Islamic economic theory or previous studies. Do the findings support or contradict existing theories?
F. Conclusion

Contains answers to the research questions derived from the discussion.

Written in narrative paragraph form (avoid bullet points).
-
Include practical implications or recommendations for the development of the Islamic finance industry.
-
Do not repeat sentences verbatim from the abstract.
G. References
-
Minimum: 20 references.
-
Quality: 80% of references must come from primary sources (Scientific Journals/Proceedings) published within the last 10 years.

Citation Style: Mandatory use of APA Style (American Psychological Association).
-
Reference Management: Authors must use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero to ensure citation accuracy and consistency.
4. Table and Figure Format
Visual objects must be presented neatly and clearly readable.
Tables:

Table titles are placed ABOVE the table (Center aligned).
-
Use only horizontal lines (Open Table Style), without vertical lines.
-
Table content: Cambria, size 10, single spacing.
-
Data source is placed below the table (Left aligned, size 10).
Figures/Graphs:

Center aligned, formatted as In Line with Text.
-
Figure titles are placed BELOW the figure (Center aligned, numbered sequentially).
5. Statement of Responsibility
The content of published articles is entirely the responsibility of the author(s). The publisher, Yayasan Nusa Education Center, is not responsible for copyright violations or inaccurate data presented by the author(s).
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
